Rhonagolf.ca is committed to the development of Junior golf in our community. Junior golf programs are available for all ages and skill levels. All Junior programs are offered by taught by Rhonagolf.ca in partnership with Bear Creek Golf Club.

2018 Fall After-School Program: Ages 6-8

A fun-filled fall after school program that will teach putting, chipping and full swing. Includes 3 instructional nights and optional Sunday, on-course, golf day.

Dates: Sept 10, 17 and 24
Day: Mondays
Time: 4:15 pm - 5:00 pm
Optional Sunday: Sept 16 at 3:00 pm (on-course instruction)

      August Players Camp: Ages 8-16

      Learn to play better on the golf course. Must be able to play and walk 9-holes of golf, carrying own golf clubs.

      Time: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

        Bear Cub Summer Camp: Ages 6-8

        A fun-filled three-day morning event. Our Bear Cub Camps are designed to develop basic golf fundamentals and skills. Camp participants will learn safety, full swing, short game skills and etiquette.

        Bear Cub Camps are introductory in nature, and designed to make the game fun and exciting while providing excellent mechanical foundations for the enjoyment of golf and interest in further learning. As students progress we will take what we have learned onto the golf course.

        Dates: July 3-4-5
        Time: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

          Bear Cubs After School: Ages 12-14

          A five-week after school program that will teach the beginning and developing player to putt, chip, pitch, play in the sand and hit great drives. This is a great spring activity to set your golfing Bear Cub up for a great summer. Pop and hot dogs served after class.

                Grizzly Bear Camp: Ages 9-16

                Our co-ed Junior Camps offer four full days of instruction as well as on the golf course supervised play. Participants learn the fundamentals of full swing with video analysis. They will also learn short game skills, rules and etiquette of the game. Students will receive a progress booklet to take home to show parents their accomplishments. Upon completion of this camp your Grizzly Bear golfer will have the skills and confidence to play golf with family and friends.

                  LPGA Girls Golf: Ages 8-16

                  Rhonagolf.ca and the Bear Creek Golf Club have been selected as one of the 130 sites across the United States and Canada for LPGA Girls Golf, a nationwide developmental golf program that encourages girls ages 8-16 to learn to play golf, build lasting friendships and sample competition in a supportive and positive learning environment. Girls are learning values inherent to the game of golf, such as practice, respect, perseverance and honesty, preparing them to meet challenge of todays world in confidence.

                  Time: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

                    Yogi Bear Camp: Ages 6-8

                    Our co-ed Junior Camps offer three afternoons of instruction and golf. Participants learn the fundamentals of full swing, short game skills, rules and etiquette of the game. Fun practice games are played to help improve new found skills.
